Job Description:
|
We are currently seeking a Senior C# .NET Application Developer to work with other development resources and key vendors to build new applications to enhance and extend strategic enterprise systems. The position is responsible for application development activities for assigned projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead complete projects and/or a group of Developers in the development and support of application programs, automated processes and other computer systems.
Design, develop, and test new software.
Research, evaluate, recommend and implement technical solutions.
Prepare realistic development and testing schedules consistent with established department standards and priorities.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure successful implementation of changes to existing systems. |
JOB REQUIREMENTS: |
|
Education and Experience:
Education equivalent to Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, or the equivalent in related work experience, demonstrating knowledge of data processing equipment, programming languages, programming techniques, operating systems, and test and data management.
Five to ten years of experience in system design and development in n-tier and client/server environments within the Microsoft.NET environment.
Demonstrates familiarity and some working knowledge of each of the following:
Development using C# .NET (experience with VB.NET a plus)
Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and 2008, including expertise with stored procedure development, and SSIS
Team Foundation Server
Solid experience with Object Oriented Principles
Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 and 2008
Strong technical and business skills
The following skills are desired:
Biztalk
COM+, Visual Basic 6
Web-based technologies
Sharepoint development
MS Reporting Services
Developing software using coding standard & patterns |
